Return of the Woodlees!

It's been a while.

All day yesterday was spent making pieces and parts to create Woodlees!

I have the parts to make 80 Woodlees!

Eve and Maggie have already volunteered to help.

Which is good, since 80 is a lot and I think I'll be needing their help. :)

I honestly thought the Woodlees were retired for good, and then I got fascinated with OTHER wooden dolls.

Clothespin dolls.

I have a project going, to make 365 of them. That's over here - 365 Clothespin Dolls - A Pin A Day. I have learned so much from doing these little dolls, and they are so fun.

But I missed the posability and bendy nature of the Woodlees. So... we'll have to see what some clothespin influence does to the Woodlees. I think it's going to be amazing!

Thanks for stopping by and reading! I can't wait to show you how it's going!

Eve At the "Little Show" & Something About a Doll Show

Last weekend, Eve attended the Denver Museum of Dollhouses Miniatures and Toys' "Little Show". She helped at the Norm's Dollhouse booth.

We brought lots of wonderful, handmade things, because the "Little Show" is all about handmade items. That makes it extra cool.

Eve brought a long a bunch of Woodlees, looking for homes.

There were some brand new things that Norm's hadn't shown anyone before too. Like comic books that are really, real, printed comic books!

And a "Rocky Mountain Faceplant" which Eve found a little creepier than the Rocky Mountain Eyerises.

And hermit crabs!

Teeny tiny hermit crabs. I think Eve would like to keep some as pets now.

Up next, Eve will be attending the 37th Annual Table Mountain Treasures Doll club 2014 Doll Show & Sale!

Norm's was invited to bring miniatures, and Eve seems to think this is a good opportunity to bring some Woodlees and maybe find them homes. I told her I'm not sure it's that kind of doll show (I think they're more porcelain and vintage types) but you never know!

So Eve is getting all set to do the next show. She says she may even have some new friends to bring along too. I guess we'll see!

Thank you so much to everyone who came out and met the Woodlees at the "Little Show" and stopped by to say "hello"! It was so great to see all of you! We're hoping to see you at the doll show too!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day from all of us in Woodlee Junction!

Valentine's is a neat day. And we like it and all. But tomorrow is a special occasion for TWO reasons!

1) It's half price chocolate day!

2) A bunch of Woodlees will be looking for new homes at the Denver Museum of Miniatures, Dolls and Toys' Annual "Little Show". Come by, say "hi" and see if maybe you need a little Woodlee in your life!

See you there!

Happy New Year!!!

Hi Everyone! Wendy here.

I have been a bad, bad dolly companion. I let myself get busy and have really neglected the Woodlees.

But no more! Yaay Woodlees!

Chief Woodlee, Eve has joined a 52 Week Photo Challenge on Facebook (link is here if you do Facebook - 52 Week Toy/Pixie/Dolls Photo Challenge). But she'll be posting her photos here too, just in case you don't do Facebook.

This is the list she'll be working from (click to make it bigger and readable), if you're interesting it doing it on your blog too! The challenges start each Wednesday and end on the following Wednesday. So the first one, Self Portrait, starts today and ends on January 8th.

She also recently attended a meeting with Hitty Rosabelle Kleider, Hitty Berine Simmons, and Miranda Ixie about making things to sell at the upcoming "Little Show" put on by the Denver Museum of Miniatures Dolls and Toys.

Eve is a very busy Woodlee all of a sudden.

We'll post all of her adventures here. One of my resolutions this year is to get this blog up and running again. Wish me luck, though it shouldn't be too hard: Woodlees are pretty active little dolls. I expect to have plenty to tell you about. :)

Happy New Year from the Woodlees and the entire Wylde Kingdom!
